About Me

Hi, I’m J. Daniel Jones and “It’s All About The Car” is my baby!

My first car was a ’64 Barracuda, followed by a ’67 Comet Calenté and then a ’62 VW Bug. And those were just the cars I had in High School!

To me, all cars are beautiful, or at the very least… interesting. I can just as easily spend an afternoon in a junkyard, exploring the past, as in a Ferrari dealership dreaming about the future… albeit a future I will never know!

But without a doubt, my favorite was to pass a day is at a car show. Give me warm weather, sunny skies, a few hundred cars to ogle, and their owners to talk too, and I’m a truly happy camper.

Car show people, and car club people, (usually one and the same), are a truly unique breed of folks. Although they normally have one particular make, model, year, or even option package that is near and “oh so dear” to their hearts… car people just like cars. They like knowing the history about a particular car, how it was found, and what it took to restore it, and where to go to see them.
